Church: COVID Edition (BTS)

When the world’s upside down, what does Church look like?

In the past 6 months, that’s been a lot of different things. Inside, outside, inside again, outside again, masks, hand sanitizer, freeze-frame high fives, pre-packaged communion, plexiglas….you name it, we’ve had to do it, often at the last minute. I think the theme for 2020 is “Pivot!”

So I thought you’d enjoy a little peak into what it takes to make a last-minute outdoor service happen. I’m particularly proud of the fact that our tech team is comprised of a majority of women, who are not the usual suspects in tech ministry. My best friend, Ashley Martinez, is not only a talented worship leader in her own right, but she’s an amazing sound tech, too. I’m blessed to serve alongside her at LMC.

(With special thanks to Israel from our Spanish ministry who lent us some gear, as well as a shoutout to my husband’s broken foot. You make that boot look good, Babe!)
